That's why model homes are so helpful and why home improvement stores have samples of various paint colors, tile options, and carpet styles.
And that's why VELUX created the Builder Show and Sell Program: to show potential buyers just how much of a difference skylights can make in their home.
About the Builder Show and Sell Program
The VELUX Builder Show and Sell Model Home Program (or Show and Sell for short) is a way for you to showcase the transformative power of skylights in the homes you build.
To show off skylights, Show and Sell Builders receive computerized renderings that show how daylight and privacy are maximized throughout the home. Once you provide a DWG file of your plans, we use the VELUX Design Center to complete your daylight designs, sort of like this:
Through the Show and Sell Program, you can also order a digital picture frame for your model home, which you can use to display your renderings and help sell the concept of daylight in the rooms that feature VELUX products. These frames are available to builders at no charge, and a custom message can be included for your homes. We'll also provide single-page literature that helps explain to your customers why you've chosen to use VELUX Skylights and Sun Tunnels® in your designs.
Show and Sell Qualifications
In order to qualify for the Show and Sell Program, you'll need:
- plans to construct at least 25 homes in your development,
- a model home or sales center open for at least 10 months,
- to have a VELUX sales rep review your plans,
- to use VELUX products for the life of the development,
- to allow VELUX marketing materials to be used in your model, and
- to allow a VELUX rep to lead sales agent and installer training.
And as part of the program, you'll receive from VELUX:
- free skylights, blinds, and controls for your model home,
- a listing in our nation-wide model home locator, and
- eligibility for our 10-year No Leak Warranty on product and installation of skylights, as well as a 10-year product warranty on Sun Tunnels® and a 5-year warranty on blinds, electronics, and other accessories.
