Judges and Criteria for the Architecture MasterPrize
The judging process for the Architecture MasterPrize is a three-part process conducted by the editors of Architecture and expert jurors. Each juror is considered to be exceptionally knowledgeable in a specific field, such as kitchen, bathroom, illumination, windows/doors, building envelope, and sustainable products.
The editors work with the jurors to compile a select list, known as the AMP Official Selection. Jurors are then assigned a set of entries based on their expertise. They score projects based on overall originality and design excellence, including aesthetics, environmental, cultural, and contextual considerations. The highest score in each category is then awarded the Best of Best title.
