Resolve Issues Quickly with the VELUX Skylight System Shade Troubleshooting Guide

A VELUX Skylight System Shade is an energy-efficient solution for regulating a home's internal temperature. The skylight shade keeps heat inside a home in winter and blocks heat gain and glare in summer. A skylight shade operates under constant tension, and they are exposed to continuous UV and heat. All VELUX skylight motors and tracks are backed by a five-year limited warranty, but when you factor in daily use, even this level of quality can be subject to alignment faults, connectivity failures, or motor issues.

Many of the issues that arise with the Skylight System shade can be easily resolved in a few simple steps. However, even with clear instructions, many homeowners are at a loss for how to conduct repairs. As an installer, you can quickly meet the needs of these homeowners by following the steps in the VELUX Skylight System Shade Troubleshooting Guide.
